Welcome to my studio
My name is Gaby Reyl and I live and work in Alverstoke, Gosport. Cornerways is my friendly and informal art studio, which is just around the corner from Stokes Bay and Stanley Park.
Here I paint bold, decorative canvasses using oils and acrylics. Although my paintings are representational, the size, composition and bold colours give them a contemporary feel. I paint a variety of subjects, but enjoy painting flowers the most. I like to capture their beauty, that short moment which fades so quickly, providing such versatility of composition and colour.
I see art as an evolutionary process and continually seek new ways to express myself. My work includes decorative art, photography and interior design, but painting is what I love most.
